Located behind the french cemetery

This cemetery is the resting place of almost 15,646 German soldiers. It was opened in the autumn of 1914 by German troops but was decimated in 1918 under Allied artillery fire. The French authorities repaired the cemetery after the War. One of the youngest Germans to be enlisted, Paul Mauck, lies in this cemetery. He was just 14 when he fell on 7 June 1915.
