1251 soldiers are buried here including 502 French, 492 British and 257 Canadian.

In 1915, French troops took possession of the premises and have the 1st and 2nd British divisions who took the site in February 1916, before being used by fighting units and medical until October 1918. At the end of the war, the bodies of the battlefield is made together in this cemetery. (From the Memory Stone site)
