Cité Bellevue ancienne

Rue de l'eglise - 62440 HARNES

This sprawling city of more than 500 housing attached to the pit 21 of the Mining Company Courrieres has a rich architectural heritage.

This suburban city built in the early 1920s is distinguished by the diversity of volumes (including roofs games) and sets its housing. Red bricks and white bricks are associated to punctuate the facades with multiple geometric patterns, strips and friezes that highlight openings and corners of the housing.
In terms of equipment, the city has a school and the church of the Sacred Heart which is still an important place of Polishness in Coalfield.
